This is not my first e-sports drama. But then they all almost have a similar storyline. The entire plot revolves around the only female e-sports player for whom the king of this sport falls in love. But the plot doesn't begin with the obvious and the story starts well. 

Characters:

Female protagonist: Tong Yao dares to pursue her dream of playing at the OPL (watch the drama to know what it is ;D) going against her parents. The top team's top player injures and is replaced by the first female at OPL, Tong Yao. She faces hardships at the league and has setbacks, but this young petite chap doesn't lose faith. 

Male protagonist: The tall, handsome, and notoriously hard-to-please captain Lu Si Cheng is just like any other strict player whose aim is to win the championship. This character has been portrayed to have multiple characteristics apart from his tough behavior. 

I should be mentioning the ex-boyfriend of the female lead, who unexpectedly left her ( he is also an OPL player) An antagonist is mainly hated by all, but to remind you that this antagonist was tough to handle but he was not completely wrong too. People face hardships and often instead of sharing them with their loved ones, they just tackle them themselves and often end up hurting the other person.

Verdict:

The drama talks about various morals and aspects of life-friendship; relieving from a melancholic relationship; not holding on to the past, etc., etc... It has a unique storyline and the perfect cast. As much as you would love the main roles, the second leads. They are just there for second leads/couples but honestly, their existence didn't really affect the story. 

The series has a soothing OST along with a great direction and screenplay. Overall I would rate it an 8.6/10.
